Delay

One thing you can always depend on game publisher is DELAY.

Game publisher are not known to hold the virtue of punctuality, it seems. One good game example is Duke Nukem Forever (On Hold).

It’s not like we, gamers, want to rush them to release the promised game and end up needed (delayed) patch(es). Too many good games turn sour when released with flaws. I don’t know about you but I don’t too excited to replay a game (after I finished it) after a patch is released. First impression does last.

I don’t think this condition will improve in near future. So it’s best not to rush to buy a game. Wait for “real” review, the one that discuss the problem (if there any) and if patch is promised, just wait. That is if you don’t want to ruin a chance to enjoy great experience with a game the way it meant to be.

delay

Game publishers should be grateful since gamer community are easily forgive. I never see a game was boycotted for released after a long delay. Have you?
